Architect James Phillip Wright is the founder and principal architect of James Phillip Wright Architects, a luxury residential firm headquartered in Northern California with a satellite office in Santa Monica.  Wright provides complete architectural, interior, and landscape design services to luxury residential clients throughout California.  He is responsible for the creation and direction of all aspects of his work, including conceptual design, design development, zoning planning and research, construction drawings and staff supervision.

Before he became a California Licensed Architect in 1988, Wright was a licensed general contractor.  Equipped with his depth of hands-on construction experience and construction management expertise, he overcomes building obstacles and minimizes unnecessary and costly changes, and in turn helps ensure that his clients’ desires and the integrity of his designs are preserved throughout the building process.

Wright now lives with his wife in Orinda, California.  He continues to maintain his architectural presence in both Northern and Southern California.
